KOGA Carbon Steel hooks feature an open semi-circular curve coming to a super strong conical tip. This tip is designed to penetrate the hardest parts of the fish’s mouth or bill and make the smallest possible hole. Once through, the generous curve of the hook throat will do minimal damage to the fish during the fight.
This is the super strong carbon steel version of the KOGA, for big marlin when you absolutely can not risk a hook breaking – this is the ONLY choice!
Carbon steel hooks have less carbon than stainless steels making them all but unbreakable, they will deform under the most extreme conditions but not break - which is what you need when fishing for the very largest of fish. With basic care and maintenance these hooks can last forever.
